False Evidence Appearing Real

Our greatest attack comes from our fears.  Fear plays with peoples minds.  The fear of the unknown, abandonment, change, failure, rejection, loss & success.  Fear has the ability to paralyze people from moving forward with their life and stops them from achieving their greatest potential.

How do you know you’re dealing with fear?  You are always looking for excuses not to face an issue, whether that issue is internally, or with another person or situation.  For example, you may choose to stay stuck in your anger or depression because it’s comfortable, you know what to expect in this place, there’s no fear here.  What is actually stopping you from moving forward, is the fear of change, the fear of the unknown.  You don’t know what to expect, so you decide to stay stuck right where you are. Although this may be a comfortable spot for you, it is not a healthy place to be. 

The fear of the unknown strengthens uncertainty, makes you feel trapped, and increases your stress level.  When you have negative fear, fright overcomes desire.  Fear steals the joy you should be enjoying.  It creates patterns and ruts.  It keeps you in a place of always expecting the other shoe to drop, just waiting for the next bad thing to happen.   


Society has played into our fears.  From the media keeping us in fear of outbreaks, to fear of attacks on our country, and from our peers keeping us in fear of success, joy, abundance.  If others can keep you in a state of fear, they have a better chance of controlling you, keeping you in the same place.  They don’t want to see you succeed more than them, they don’t want you to have more than they have.  Society has to go through a transition to bring people back to reality. People have to slow down, to assess their lives, to see what is really going on, life has gotten too fast.  Slow down and take a look at what is really happening in your life, in your own self.  The more people want to keep things the same, the more it drains people.  We must begin to re-design ourselves, to acknowledge and release our fears, to move beyond our fears in order to move forward and discover what we are truly capable of.  This change in our society begins with each of us taking a step forward into the unknown, leaving our fears behind.  This change begins with YOU.

So what can you do to begin banishing your fears?

Admit that fear exists.  Accept it and learn where it comes from.   Mentally prepare yourself every morning for the day…..feel good about it.  Face each day of your life with strength.  Take away the fear of the unknown and instead step into that which you fear.  Re-establish trust in yourself, mentally, spiritually and emotionally.  Stabilize and understand yourself.  All positive energy flows from self trust.  Always Be Clear!  In clarity we gain calmness, without it our confidence is weakened.  When you are clear and calm, you are in control of your life and can tackle the fear of the unknown and begin reaching for your dream.

Surround yourself with positive people, stay away from the negative – turn them loose.  Work to strengthen yourself and search for rays of hope.  Expect good things to happen.  Look for the positive.  Design your life to have a bounce in your step.  Turn your imagination loose.  Be willing to take risks.  Don’t sit on the park bench waiting for good things to happen while others are passing you by with a smile on their face and a bounce in their step.  Get up and walk beside them!

Reconnect with people and take a look at what’s really important in your life. Focus and prioritize.  Take a look at who you are, what you want, and what it is going to take to achieve it.

Strengthen each other!!  Support each other!!  Be happy for others achievements as well as your own!!  Banish all FEARS!!

Are you ready to be unstuck?

Healing does not always mean that the physical body recovers from illness.  Healing can also mean that you have released long held fears and negative thoughts towards yourself or others.

Increasing and continual exhaustion that takes the edge off mental and emotional clarity is an energy symptom that indicates something is wrong in the body.  Most people do not consider it a symptom because it’s not actually painful.  But when exhaustion continues, even when the person is getting enough sleep, the body is trying to communicate that the person is “energetically ill”. Responding to this message can often prevent the development of an illness. 

Depression, guilt or anger are other symptoms that all is not well within you.  Prolonged negative feelings often precede the development of a physical illness.   It takes a concerted effort to shift your mind to allow yourself to heal.  Seeing and admitting the truth about ourselves, about our role in creating our own problems and about how we relate to others is vital to you healing your present situation.

Healing is an active and internal process that includes investigating one’s attitudes, memories and beliefs, with a desire to release all negative patterns that prevent one’s full emotional recovery.  It is the will to begin your healing, and often requires the healing of emotional issues. 

Healing your inner self, your past and your current problems is simple, although it may not be easy. You have to have a way to work through your stuff, if you don’t you may remain stuck in the cycle that you have been living. 

Here are a few steps to help you with the process:

1.  Commit yourself to healing all the way to the source of the pain.  This means turning inwards and coming to know your wounds.

2.  Once 'inside', identify your wounds.  As you identify your wounds, you need at least one person who is capable of working with you to help you understand their influence on you.

3.  Once you have verbalized your wounds, observe how you use them to influence or even control the people around you, as well as yourself.  How have your wounds served you?  Do they allow you to play a victim of circumstance?  Do they keep you stuck so that you will not lose intimate connections with people around you?  Ask yourself how staying stuck is serving another purpose, be honest with yourself, because this is the most significant reason that you fear becoming healthy and happy.

Re-write Your Future

Karma is a Sanskrit word that has become popular in our culture, but what exactly is Karma, and if you believe you have ‘bad’ Karma, how do you change it?  How do you re-write your future?


Wikipedia defines Karma as:  means action, work or deed; it also refers to the principle of causality where intent and actions of an individual influence the future of that individual. Good intent and good deed contribute to good karma and future happiness, while bad intent and bad deed contribute to bad karma and future suffering.

From the teachings of Swami Paramahamsa Nithyananda, he defines Karma as a hangover of your past which becomes a mental pattern in you to keep you in a constant self-struggling and self-challenging cycle.  It is your past hanging in the present, destroying your future.  

If you go deeper into this, the total result of all of your past decisions, intent and actions, is your present.  You chose your present!  You made a decision, which turned into an action, which is why you are living your present life.  Most times you made a decision on a sub-conscious level and are fully unaware of what that decision was.  The good news is that you can now make a decision on a conscious level to change your Karma, to re-write your future!  

We have been so brainwashed by society to believe that problems are a part of life, or life is meant to be hard, or money is the root of all evil, or that you have to be busy and stressed to look important, or that we are supposed to struggle.  Throughout our childhood and our relationships with others we may have made a decision that I’m not good enough, or strong enough, or pretty enough, or not deserving enough.  These are just some of the examples of beliefs we may have taken on, and therefore decisions we may have made about ourselves on a sub-conscious level.  When you live in constant self-denial and self-struggle you can’t see the good that comes to you.  Your self-doubting ways believe it’s too good to be true, or that you aren’t deserving of it, or that it’s only temporary because nothing good stays.  You are constantly denying any higher or transformational possibilities.  Stop struggling!  Resistance leads to feeling powerless.         

So, the question is, how do you change your Karma and therefore re-write your future?  Firstly understanding that Karmic struggles and patterns are not from actions you have made, it is from the decisions you have made.  Before there is an action, there has been a decision.  

Sit quietly and look into the source of the patterns in your life, think back to when you made a decision to struggle.  Start seeing the pattern of self-doubt, self-denial and self-struggle.  Why did you write the life that is happening now?  Look inside and start understanding every struggle, understand the subtext and the context of why you wrote what you wrote.  How did you start the self-doubting pattern, when did it start?  When did you have to start convincing others that you were something that you’re not?  What is the payoff for you?  Perhaps it is so that you could be dependent on others, or so that you could play the victim of being dealt a crappy hand in life, or so that you don’t have to take responsibility for your actions.  Whatever it is, there is a payoff there.  

Once you understand the subtext and context, and why you made your decisions, you can re-write your future.  Re-writing needs your decision, not your action.  You must make a decision to change yourself, to understand what decisions you have made about yourself, why you wrote what you wrote.  Only once you change your decision and perceptions about you, will you change your life.  

You need to complete the Karmic patterns you are carrying, you need to change your decision about you and your life.  Re-write your future consciously.  Create your new reality.  Only then will your transformation be permanent.

What are you willing to give up in order to become who you want to be?

Imagine that you have gone days without any food, you are starving and desperate.  However in each of your hands you hold a bucket of water.  Both food and water are essential for your survival.  I approach you with food in each of my hands and offer you some, but you are holding so strongly onto the water, knowing that the two buckets is all that you have.  You have to make a decision, for your survival.  In order to accept the food I am offering, you must first let go of one of the buckets of water.  You cannot accept the very thing you need until you let go of what you are holding on to.

Sit quietly and ask yourself these questions:

What is it that I am holding onto that I am afraid to let go of?  

What emotions am I carrying around that no longer serve me?

What fears are holding me back from moving forward in my life?

Where can I let go of anger, resentment, blame, shame or guilt?

Who do I need to forgive, or what do I need to forgive myself for, in order to be free?


You can’t reach for anything new if your hands are still full of yesterdays junk.  Isn’t it time that you let go of all of the stuff you are carrying around?

The Hot Air Balloon Effect

Everything you want, everything you have asked for is already here, waiting for you to reach out and grab it.  We’ve all heard of The Secret and The Law of Attraction.  Most of us have tried to manifest all of the things we want in life, but some of us have not been able to succeed at this.  Want to know the real secret?  It has to do with being happy in the now and getting rid of the clutter in your life. 

Before I go any further, I want to share with you my definition of clutter.  When I say clutter I mean actual stuff, negative thoughts and words, people, the job you dislike, anything that may be bringing you down or not making you happy in the now. 


To clarify further, by stuff I mean the stuff that is cluttering your home, your space, stuff that you are holding onto like old magazines, knick-knacks, stuff that a friend or family member gave you that you don’t really like but are keeping it just because. The clothes in your closet that you never wear, or are too small/too big.   Donate the stuff that is cluttering your space, someone less fortunate will benefit and you will be clearing your space of stale energy.   

Negative thoughts and words. Blame, shame, guilt, fear, all of these thoughts and words lower your vibration, your confidence, and they take away your power.  Start paying attention to the negative, anytime you think or say something negative simply say to yourself ‘Cancel – Clear– Delete’ and then rephrase or replace it with something positive. State what you are grateful for, what you love about yourself or your life.  Change your thoughts, change your words, change your life.

People.  Yes, there are probably people in your life who drag you down, I call these people ‘energy vampires’.  Who in your life steals or deflates your energy, your power, your happiness? After spending some time with someone, take a few moments to check on how you feel.  Do you feel lighter, happier and peaceful, or do you feel down, heavier and drained?  If it’s the latter, it’s time you release these people from your life.  Surround yourself with the people who support you and raise your energy level.  You will be happier for it.    

Your Job.  Do you wake up every morning happy to go to work?  Do you love what you do?  If not, I hate to tell you this, but you will be stuck in your current situation until you move on to something you love.  Think about it.  We spend a great deal of time at work and with the people we work with. If you are not happy, constantly complaining about your job, and are just there for the paycheck, you are lowering your vibration on a daily basis.  Take a moment to think about what your ideal job would be, what would you love to do?  What are you good at?  How do you feel just thinking about it?  Figure out what that is, and find a way to go do it.  Ask yourself “What can I do today in direction of my dream?”, and go do it. Start working at this a little bit each day, work towards manifesting your dream job.  Let the Universe know that you are ready to step into your dream, be happy now! 

I’d like to share a visual with you.  Pretend everything you want is in the clouds, it is waiting there for you, at the doorstep of your higher vibration.  You are sitting in a hot air balloon with all of your clutter, the balloon is sitting on the ground because it is so heavily weighed down.  What can you do to start getting rid of this clutter?  Throw it overboard!  Once you start, you will notice the balloon lifting off of the ground.  The balloon is a symbol of your vibration.  As you get rid of the clutter and negativity in your life, your vibrational balloon will begin rising higher and higher.  Eventually you will find yourself floating among the clouds, and everything you’ve ever wanted will begin flowing into your life with ease. 

Sing, Dance, Laugh…..raise your vibration and grasp onto all of the good that is waiting for you.

Taking Back Your POWER

So often in our lives we give our power, time and energy away to others.  Whether it be your spouse, children, boss, or even your friends, we let others have control over our lives.  We are often dutiful little soldiers who meet the demands of others, often times going against what we truly want for ourselves.  We often become frustrated or angry with the other person, and this is a sign that we are not being true to ourselves or voicing our own wants and needs.  We aren’t taking the time to do what we truly want to do, we aren’t taking the ‘me’ time that we all so deeply desire. 

Society has made us believe that taking time for ourselves, doing what we truly want to do and love to do, is selfish. However the opposite is true.  By not taking the time for ourselves, we lose our connection to who we truly are, we forget what our passions are, what truly makes us happy on our own terms.  When we lose this connection, we are not doing any good for anyone, including ourselves.  Only by being true to ourselves, taking care of our own needs, are we capable of serving others on our own terms, in a way that makes everyone happy. 

"Life is not holding anything back from you, you are holding yourself back from life."  Think about that for a minute, and then ask yourself these questions: 

Who or what has taken away your power? 

Who or what are you making your source?

What would it look like if you took back your power? 

What would your life be like if you believed that YOU are the source of everything? 

Who would you be? 

What would you do? 

How would you act?  

What would you do more/less of?   

What guidance emerges when you ask these questions?  Write them down, write them all down, and then take action.  Make an intention today to start showing up like never before! 

“Today I take back my power! Today I become my own source! Today I will take action!”
